Group of boys who work in Suncock (N. H.) Mills.

Group of boys who work in Suncock (N. H.) Mills. It is a large corporation, employing 1200 hands, but in all the three mills, I found only 1 girl and three boys that seemed to be under 14. Unusual conditions for a large N.H. Mill. Sanitary conditions here are exceptionally good, for this section. I investigated all three mills freely and was unknown and usually unattended by anyone. Location: Suncock, New Hampshire. Date Created/Published: 1909 May. LOC original medium: 1 photographic print. Child labor picture by Lewis Wickes Hine.
